The NEL Special Allocation Service is accessible by its own entrance from the main road. Look for “Forest Road Medical Centre” above the entrance on the main road.

Getting there 

By Car

To reach Forest Road Medical Centre by car, please use the post code E17 5JL but be aware that parking is restricted to residents only for a wide area surrounding the surgery. There are some short-stay parking spots near the surgery but are limited to 30mins. The nearest pay and display parking is located on Bedford Road, and is around 10minutes walk from the surgery. 

Please use the street entrance directly on Forest Road. Once inside the street-side entrance, you will be greeted by our receptionist.

Bus

The Surgery is served by bus routes – W11 and 123

Hospital by bus

Train 

The nearest Train station to Forest Road Medical Centre is Blackhorse Road. Either the W11 or 123 bus will take you from there to the medical centre, or it is a 15minute walk along Forest Road.

Loxford Polyclinic: Friday 2pm to 5pm

The polyclinic is located in the large building complex on the corner of Loxford Lane and Ilford Lane. Entrance to the practice is Ilford Lane.

By Car

To reach Loxford Polyclinic by car, use the postcode IG1 2SN. Please be aware that most of the parking close to the clinic is for residents only, but there is some pay and display parking behind the building on St. Leonards Gardens. The car park within the grounds of this clinic is strictly for staff only. 

By Bus

The 169, 366 and EL1 buses stop just outside the clinic.

The nearest station to the clinic is Barking. Either the 169 or EL1 bus will take you from the station directly to the clinic, or it is a 10minute walk from the station.
